Those thieving grackles were back at the Biltmore Fashion Park shopping center when I was there this last week.
A shop not far from this fountain puts out a bowl of water and another bowl of dog biscuits for all the four-legged shoppers at the center.
The grackles swoop in and steal a dog biscuit and then the give it a good soak in the fountain until they can break it up into small pieces.
I've never been there when they actually get one broken. But, they must have some success or they wouldn't keep up the process. They are smart birds.
