Desert Colors

Late Tuesday afternoon, I was feeling the urge to get outside so I took a walk at the Desert Botanical Garden.  I'm so glad I did.  There were colorful blooms all over the garden.  Our wet winter has urged the wildflowers to make an appearance and they took up the challenge beautifully.

There were even some early cactus blooms like these beautiful claret cup cactus blooms.

Yellow, orange, red, blue, white and pink; color was everywhere I looked.

Your flowers just brighten my day up. Today here the weather is rain with possible snow moving in.

Fabulous. Love that first shot. It is gloomy & grey here with rain to come. And no colour really.

I have been to the Desert Gardens. So beautiful. The rains must have brought out the best this season. Very nice. Thanks for bringing back memories to me of my time there.

There is nothing quite as lovely as the desert dun on its blooms and cactus sage green. Beautiful I , too, am glad you decided to go for a walk!

Wonderful! We're getting some nice blooms in the Joshua Tree area, but not a superbloom year.
