Late Tuesday afternoon, I was feeling the urge to get outside so I took a walk at the Desert Botanical Garden. I'm so glad I did. There were colorful blooms all over the garden. Our wet winter has urged the wildflowers to make an appearance and they took up the challenge beautifully.
There were even some early cactus blooms like these beautiful claret cup cactus blooms.
Yellow, orange, red, blue, white and pink; color was everywhere I looked.
Gorgeous view. The flowers are vibrant
Great with all the colors.
How amazing! I love seeing your desert in bloom.
Your flowers just brighten my day up. Today here the weather is rain with possible snow moving in.
Beautiful! The desert is amazing when it blooms.
The desert blooms, just add water.
Fabulous. Love that first shot. It is gloomy & grey here with rain to come. And no colour really.
I have been to the Desert Gardens. So beautiful. The rains must have brought out the best this season. Very nice. Thanks for bringing back memories to me of my time there.
Lovely colours. My favorite is the first photo.
I envy your membership in the Desert Botanical Garden. It seems like there's always something beautiful to see there.
There is nothing quite as lovely as the desert dun on its blooms and cactus sage green. Beautiful I , too, am glad you decided to go for a walk!
Amazing that all those colours are seen in a desert.
Wonderful! We're getting some nice blooms in the Joshua Tree area, but not a superbloom year.
