Overgrown

Just down the street from the building I featured yesterday was this former office building that looks like it has given up entirely.
A window has been boarded up and the plants have nearly grown over the doorway.  And, the address number is looking a little tipsy.

This street is right off of Central Avenue in the middle of the midtown commercial district.  I'm starting to wonder if some type of development changes might be happening here.

Buildings don't seem to last long when there is no business there. Maybe, like you say, there is possibly some development changes coming.

Kinda looks like #10 Stonehenge. :-)

We may see a lot of that in the days ahead!

I like the wonky number 10. The top photo looks like something Stephen Shore would have taken for "Uncommon Places," one of his traveling-around-America photo series.

Looks like it needs a little love, or a large bulldozer

It looks forlorn, with it's "tipsy" address number.

Looking very sad indeed.

Pat may be right: we may be seeing more of that in the days ahead. Nature sure seems ready to reclaim.
