I took this photo at the Biltmore Fashion Park shopping center over the weekend. Our humidity has been a tiny bit higher than usual over the last few days so when those cooling misters are running, it makes it look like a heavy fog. If you look closely, you can see that the "fog" is actually coming from the building edges. That's where the mister lines are located. Normally, the air is dry enough that the mist doesn't really show that much. It just does its job cooling the air.
On Sunday evening, I attended a performance of "Hamilton". It was my third time to see this wonderful play and my friends and I all agree, this was the best performance yet. It was so good, I hated to see it end. Every actor did an incredible job playing their parts.
Looking at the program, I discovered that the three leading characters were all played by the understudies in this performance. I'd say they are all ready for starring roles. They are great performers.
This is one musical I could see over and over again. Les Miserables and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat are two more.
I'll be honest here, I never go to the flea markets around here. So, lacking any authentic flea market photos, I chose to feature this diner located in an old Rexall pharmacy building. I think this comes close to qualifying with all the odds and ends they had for sale around the place.
I was tempted to purchase the Pillsbury doughboy on the right. But, I decided I had enough knick-knacks knocking around my kitchen.
