A Place to Cool Down

I took these photos before the current heat wave arrived.  If I went here today, I wonder if I'd find some people playing in this decorative fountain.

I have to admit, I'd be seriously tempted.

The heat has been especially intense these past two weeks.

With the extra hot weather we are having I would also be tempted to jump in.

Not easy to live in Phoenix these days. The sound of water must be relaxing. The idea of getting one's feet wet must be pretty strong! You must envy us in Toulouse, it is 101 today.

It's been hot here too.

Looks like the perfect idea for Phoenix! Tampa has a similar fountain downtown and I've often seen people "playing" in it.

I just read that Phoenix is going to break the record for most days 19 days in a row of 110-degree or more temperatures. On Tuesday, it was poised to break that 49-year-old record. Stay cool, Sharon.

I think of you every time I here on the radio how hot it is in Phoenix. I don't think that you would be the only one in that water today, Sharon. Stay well.
