Yellow and Red

When I was at the Phoenix Art Museum last weekend, I noticed that the huge, red dinosaur that sits on the museum grounds was nicely framed by the yellow blooms of the palo verde trees behind it.  I decided to snap a photo to show the color contrast and then I thought, why not capture that tall building across the street too.

The dinosaur sculpture is called "Jurassic Age" by Chinese artist Sui Jianguo.  The artist sculpts lots of over-sized versions of children's toys that are manufactured in China.

Nice juxtaposition of the sculpture with the tree and the building.
