Palm Trees Everywhere

The Phoenix area is full of palm trees.  Tall ones, short ones, skinny ones and fat ones, we have all kinds.  In some places they are growing in large clusters like the ones above.

In other places, they are strategically placed around a property to enhance the landscape.

And sometimes I find them all alone on the side of a hill.

This one has developed a little 'bend' in its tall trunk. It looks like it's swaying in the wind.

feather dusters, very large grasses, not really trees , as you know, curious hollow pipe plant, shallow roots, a curiosity!

I've always liked the look of palm trees. Here we have cabbage trees that resemble a palm tree but they are alot smaller.

I guess I think of the beach when I think of palm trees..not the desert! I like the tall one that’s a bit crooked!
