We had a nice long rain last Saturday and on Sunday evening (July 4th), I was back at my friends Julie and Dave's house for dinner and fireworks. When I arrived, the clouds were pretty spectacular on the horizon. Those are real desert monsoon clouds. We were actually hoping for more rain but it never happened in our part of town.
Those clouds helped make a colorful sunset.
And, we did get to see some fireworks. It was the perfect conclusion to our July 4th celebrations!
