Shade, Lots & Lots of Shade

Not far from the castle-like condos I posted yesterday, was this house nearly hidden by these magnificent trees.  What wonderful and huge threes they are.  The house faces west but I'm certain that not one ray of hot, western sunlight hits any of those windows.  I bet the birds love those trees.

Shade in a desert. Mother Nature likes you.

It must be cool but very dark in there!

They are protecting the house...

It's interesting how uniformly sheared off they are at the bottom -- almost like they have a cow keeping them pruned!

Great trees, certainly give lots of shade.
Enjoy your weekend Sharon

On first glance I didn't see the house. That's a lot of shade!

I normally would say that the trees would make the inside of the house dark, but if I lived in your climate I would be very happy for the shade.

Shade is important in the desert and these lovely trees provide the much needed shade to stay cool. I wonder how cool the inside of the house is.
