Spring Blooms

The arrival of April always makes me think of spring and of course, spring always makes me think of blooms.  So, here are a few blooms I've been enjoying lately.  Above is the bloom on the Texas Mountain Laurel shrub.

Pink penstemon blooms are waving in the breeze.

Desert Marigolds are looking bright.

Baja Fairy Dusters are spreading their brush-like petals.

The yucca plants are all crowned with a cascade of white petals.
It's the start of a colorful month!

These are wonderful to see, Sharon. We are having cool weather again so the flowers are staying curled up for a while longer.

I love your yucca blooms! Some are blooming in our local desert, but many are not.
