Looking for Color

I took a walk at the Desert Botanical Garden Sunday morning to see what was blooming there.  There are an abundance of both palo verde and mesquite trees in the garden so it was ablaze in yellow.  The yellow and green part of this Chihuly sculpture almost disappears into the yellow background.

Walking along the main pathway was like walking through a yellow tunnel.  I love this time of year.

That red flower in the top photo looks very much like a NZ bottlebrush
