Two weeks ago I was out scouting for murals when I found this place with this lovely and exotic looking mural in front. It has an Egyptian feel to it.
"A zine - pronounced zeen - derived from magazine - is an independently or self-published booklet, often created by a single person. Zines are customarily created by physically cutting and gluing text and images together onto a master flat for photocopying, but it is also common to produce the master by typing and formatting pages on a computer. The end product is usually folded and stapled. Zines can be printed and bound in any manner."
This place is sort of a library and publisher of these kinds of publications. Blogging certainly allows me to learn all kinds of new things. However, I didn't learn who painted those wonderful wings.
Taking part in Monday Murals.

I have a number of friends that have published their own zines over the years. Mostly about a local music scene.
Funny those wings!
Unique thing to collect
The wings are very striking. Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Sharon.
I agree. You do learn a lot blogging and those wings certainly catch your eye.
A wonderfully attractive mural to make your business stand out!
Interesting. I had no idea anybody still made zines. I think of them as very '90s.
Love it!
I love this mural, Sharon! What a find!
And the good thing is we all learn something new also Sharon, I had no idea what a zine was! It's a beautiful mural and fits in the Arizona scene perfectly 💜
I participated in a zine for awhile. They are hard work with little reward. However, those wings are really rewarding when you shared them with us. It certainly looks like it it belongs in Arizona.
A very nice and attractive mural, I like it!
You could have gone old school: knocked the door and asked whoever opened it who painted the wings. BTW, I was thinking they have sort of a Native American "feel" to them.
Very dramatic. Impressive.
It certainly feels Egyptian.
It's very eye catching and colorful. Love it.
A unique front store!
That's very cool, wings with eyes.
