I was driving on McDowell Road over the weekend when I spotted this vacant building with a strange "checked" paint job. I snapped a photo while waiting at the traffic light.
An hour or two later, I had stopped at Biltmore Fashion Park to do a bit of shopping when I peeked in the door of a store called Cornelia Park. More checks! Those checks look better on these household items then they do on the front of a building.

I wonder what that building was? (Or what it's in the process of becoming?)
The facade looks like panels applied to the front of the building, interesting, if messy
What a surprise. That store has checkers every where.
The checks don't really work on that building at all. A bit of an overkill in the store but a few pieces would be fun, Sharon.
There's a lot of checks in the store, lol. The building looks unfinished, a future mural maybe?
A day of checks, did you have to check in? :)
The interior of that shop is different. Very artfully done.
I have great shopping envy about the Biltmore Fashion area. Tucson does not have much in the way of upscale shops. Not that we actually buy anything, but sometimes it's fun to look.
I like that shop interior.
Oh I like the look of that shop Sharon, lots of lovely goodies in their chequered packaging 😉 I think the building looks ok too, definitely not plain 😀
that 'checker store' looks fabulous!!
Unusual buildings are the best to check out what's inside I think.
