Palo Verde at Their Peak

The Palo Verde trees are at their blooming peak right now so I thought I'd show them off to all of you.  I found these along a wall in a Scottsdale neighborhood.

Back in Phoenix and just up the street from me were these two beauties putting on their best seasonal show.

For this last one, I thought I'd contrast that yellow agains the blue sky and big, puffy clouds.  This was actually taken at a small shopping complex.  Phoenix and the surrounding cities are aglow in yellow right now.

Park you car under one of those, and come back in a couple of hours to measure the pollen count.

The trees everywhere seem to be blooming like crazy. Now if that blasted wind would stop blowing.
