Bath Time for the Starlings

The last time I was walking at the Desert Botanical Garden, I encountered a group of starlings enjoying the water feature in the contemplation garden.

They appeared to be enjoying themselves as they splashed in the water and flapped their wings.

Once they were clean, their feathers were shining like they had just received a high polish.  They are a well-groomed group of birds.

Starlings are always such vigorous bathers!
