The Dancers

I have one more post from the Dia de los Muertos celebration at the Desert Botanical Garden.  This time I'm featuring the dancers who were performing traditional celebratory dances.

This pair were the stars of this performance.

After the dance ended, the participants had to go back to their graves. It was a beautiful performance.  There was so much going on at different places in the garden it was hard to see it all.  I'm glad I got to catch scenes from most of the performances.

Great looking show. The only thing missing is the music.

The dancing dead- Love this sentiment ,so much, as we would all love to have our dead beloveds reanimate just for one day of frolic and joy. Very beautiful, poetic. lovely!

Must be hard to dance in a mask -- limited vision and less air!
