The Band

In yesterday's post I did some people watching at The Vig, a restaurant and bar on the east side of Phoenix.  In between celebrity sightings, I took a few shots of the band to share with you.  The band is called "Elvis Before Noon" and they make great music.  They perform every Sunday between 3:00 and  6:00 PM.

Nice band pics. But the idea of an unshaven and unkempt Elvis staggering downstairs in his pyjamas is not pretty!

A Rockabilly drum player! Very cool mosaic, Sharon.

That drummer would fit in w/ Chris Isaak's band nicely.
Long live Rockabilly!

Must be a lively place. I wonder what kind of music they were playing.
We listened to a pretty good band in the Spirit Room in Jerome yesterday, until lightening struck and the power went off.

The drummer has a hair style from the 50's, but guitar player looks to have hair from the late 60's or 70's.

Thanks for these. I'll bet they are a lot of fun! But looking at the hours they play maybe they should call themselves "Elvis Before Six". :-)

it's fun to hear the names that people dream up for their bands! This has to be one of the more unique ones.
