Rainy Day
The building where I work has a hidden and submerged courtyard and when it rains as it did last Friday, the water really runs off of the roof like a waterfall. I shot the second photo through the waterfall down toward the umbrella of a table in the courtyard.
We only have three more weeks at this office location. Our offices are moving to downtown Phoenix and we will be in an old brick building that has loads of character. It will also be much closer to my home. I'm going to really enjoy the shorter drive but, I'll miss seeing Camelback Mountain every day.

I'm sure you'll love working downtown.
I would miss that view too. Looks like a nice rain.
I think it would be nice to see a waterfall in Phoenix in the summer. I like the rain on the umbrella.
I doubt that it was designed for the roof to pour rain into the courtyard.
I have been really loving the rain we've been getting. It's humid, but at least we're getting rain in return! Can't wait to see the new building.
The rain must have felt good! This building seems typically Phoenix - open and modern. But, I would, like you, rather work in an old brick building with loads of character!
That was quite a storm.Good luck with the move.
That reminds me of the O'Reilly Autoparts headquarters on 7th street south of Bethany Home. It has a water feature that looks like it is splashing down into a pond and then thru the pond down below into the garage. Have you seen it? It would be a great addition to your blog.
An old brick building sounds cool!
We get rain tomorrow, I hope not so much!!
Wow that's serious rain
That is quite a waterfall.
Congrats on getting a shorter commute and a more interesting place to work. You will enjoy it, I'm sure.
You'll probably miss the building, too, even tho it's different than your new location.
Some beautiful Shots of Rain !! I love rain a lot and enjoy watching it too !! Thanks for Sharing !!
Unseen India
I thought it was a permanent waterfall, made on purpose! WOW!
