Roofline

This might look like a grand cabin but, it's actually a business building located on a very busy street in Phoenix not far from where I live.  It used to house a financial services company but, I think it might be empty right now.  I've always thought this was a rather unusual design to be located in such a traditional part of town.  I framed the photo so that I'd just capture the triple roofline of the building.

I think this is on McDowell.

Unlike Dave I think it is on 15th Ave. just south of Thomas on the east side of the street. We're probably both wrong!

It's actually on 7th Ave just south of Thomas. You were close Kathy.

I remember these. Right next to the Willo District.

I just love this shot! The composition is great and the subject unexpected. Wouldn't this make a nice western steakhouse?

I'm with Judy...this is unexpected to see in downtown Phoenix. The building materials just don't seem quite right. :)

Unusual for sure. I do like the wood, which works better in Phoenix than Ocala I'd guess. And the shake shingles. Excellent composition!

Of course it's 7th! What was I thinking. I lived a fourth of a block from 7th Ave! Duh!
