I had palm trees on my property when I lived in Phoenix. Yes, they must be trimmed once a year and the price kept going up and up and up. In addition you have to pay to have the old fronds removed from your property. So that can also be another $25 trip-to-the-dump charge. And hornets and wasps love to build nests in palm trees. And pigeons roost in them and drop pigeon poop all over your patio - year round. Don't get me wrong. I love palm trees!

I guess a metal palm never needs trimming.
I don't think I much care for metal palm trees...they must make things hotter, too. As you suggest...why?

Kathy's comment made me laugh.
Nice find!
I really like them! Of course I don't see real palm trees all the time like you do.
It looks great in the photo but I never understand how people can choose fake instead of real.
Really LOW water usage with these. :)
Yes, I wondered why not just plant the real thing.
I bet the pigeons hate these.
That is a head scratcher.
Yes indeed, they should send them over here :-)
Kathy's comment made me laugh too. I think they look very dramatic but I bet there are a lot of confused pigeons around haha!
very unusual. why not use real ones.
