Getting an Early Start

Our trees don't start to turn to fall colors until December so I thought this one was getting a head start.  However, I guess December is just a few days away so this one is not unreasonably early.  Last year I didn't find very many that turned red in color.  Most just turned yellow and brown.  Maybe this is a sign that there will be little more color in the trees that shed their leaves this year.  I hope so.

The trees are wonderful this autumn, I have never seen so many bright colours as this year!

Ours turned later than normal but we had a good show. There are still a few stubborn ones with leaves but we are to get the snow storm tomorrow from Colorado so that will probably put an end to the leaves.

Hard to find in Phoenix trees turning red but you did. The other exception is with Japanese maples.

That's a beauty. Our prettiest trees around here have all lost their leaves. It feels like winter's getting an early start (it's 29F right now). Too early for me.

Autumn colours were late here also Sharon, but this beauty was worth waiting for 🍁

That's a nice color. Doesn't rainfall have something to do with how colorful trees get? Seems like I've heard that before.
