Big Trees

I've been noticing the shapes and sizes of some trees around town.  This one is simply enormous.  It pretty much covers the front of that building.

I just liked the shape of this one.  It's a little heavier on one side giving it that wind blown look.

Trees are such an important part of a landscape and large trees are awesome to me.

Not only the considerable size, but also the almost regular shape...

Gosh the first tree is a monster Sharon, must make the rooms in the house behind a bit dark. Wonder how old they are?

That first one is really pretty. It must help keep that house cool! I like how flat the canopies are on the bottom -- the better to get a lawnmower through, I guess.

That first one is huge!

Good lord, that first one is a monster. Just hope you don't get hit with a hurricane...oh, that's right, you just get monster sand storms! :) We had lots of oak trees at our former house that we had to keep trimmed because hurricanes tend to knock them over or send branches flying over wide areas. But tree trimming is very expensive.

And I'm afraid that house is pretty dark inside.

I love to see large mature trees like that, Sharon!

Ginormous trees! But that second one reminds me of Donald Trump. I don't know why.

The home in the first photo certainly gets a lot of benefit from the shade of that tree, which in desert speak is really ginormous!
