Another feature of the new Civic Space Park is this fountain that shoots up water in different patterns so you don’t know where it will pop up next. It was very popular with the kids and quite a few adults too. Playing in water! No one grows tired to that!

The Millenium Park in Chicago certainly proved how popular water could be as a feature for an urban park. It is nice to see Phoenix try its hand at such an attraction.
That is so true Dave. In fact, this park reminds me of Millenium Park in many ways. It's not nearly as large but, it certainly has that "gathering place" feel.
Houston has one too in its Discovery Green Park.
That would be fun to play in. I wonder if it is "recycled" water.
