Lot's and Lot's of Orchids

When I was at the garden on Wednesday morning, I made a point of visiting that orchid exhibit one more time.  It's scheduled to end on May 11th and I wanted to make sure I saw it once again.

So today I have an abundance of orchids to show you.  There were so many varieties it is a bit of an adventure trying to identify them all.

There are large blooms and then there are tiny blooms.  If I had seen these yellow ones blooming by themselves I would never have guessed they were orchids.

They don't have the orchids labeled in this display so I don't know the names of all of these.  I just know they are all beautiful and I'm glad I got to see them in this environment.

Orchids are so beautiful. According to Wikipedia, "Orchids are cosmopolitan plants that are found in almost every habitat on Earth except glaciers." That's a fun fact!

A beautiful assortment! I wonder where all the orchids go when the show is over? Do they sell them? Maybe you can take one home!
