Construction Workers

There is some heavy duty construction going on in downtown Phoenix these days.  There is supposed to be a big supermarket opening up soon on this spot but, since it keeps climbing up skyward, I think it's going to be so much more.

I'm guessing that there will be condos or apartments above that grocery store.  The framework is looking pretty elaborate.  There has never been a full blown supermarket in downtown Phoenix so people who live in the area are getting pretty excited to have it open sometime this spring.

I am looking forward to your photo of the finished product.

That is what happens here too. A tall building with stores on the ground floor and condos above. It makes the area more livable.

They have a lot of work to do to open in the spring. It will be interesting to see it when it's done.

One of the buildings downtown here built in recent years has a supermarket at ground level and condo lofts above it.

The rounded shape of the floors is interesting. Please show us the finished product when it's done!

Living above the store. My idea of an ideal life.

I think it's nice that you took the time to allow the construction workers to get a good look at you while you were taking photos. I don't think we have a grocery store in downtown Ocala, either. But then few people like in the downtown area. It's about 80 degrees here and now it's also pouring down rain. Ugh.
