Fire Engine Red

When I went to the Scottsdale Art Festival two weeks ago, I spotted this snazzy looking antique parked in the parking lot.  Unfortunately, I didn't look to see what make this is so I'll leave up to you folks to let me know if you recognize it.

It's got a pretty dramatic looking hood ornament!

I want one of these! What a beautiful restoration. Not sure of the make, either. Pontiac maybe?

I love old cars, I know nothing about them but I love to look at them. Google tells me that's a 1930 Buick. But the hood ornament/radiator cap doesn't seem to match. I wonder if it is the right one for that car.
Nice find Sharon, thanks.

That hood ornament is fabulous Sharon.. I often wonder what happens to the hood ornaments when the old cars don't find a loving owner to restore them.. can they be found in antique shops, junk shops etc. hopefully they aren't lying still attached to deserted old cars somewhere never to be found. This reminds me of one of the old gangsta cars :)
