Strange Sightings
It's getting to be that time of year when I see some strange things going on in the neighborhood. This one kind brings life to that old saying "digging your own grave".
Only a few home owners decorate their yard for Halloween now a days. Its too bad the new generation can't enjoy the Halloween that we used to have in the past. But I think this is the start of something. That skull is very odd indeed. website hosting australia
At this time of year, I think I prefer Los días de los Muertos. Seems to have more meaning connected to it. But there's nothing wrong with scaring the little darlins!
I remember the first time I saw people decorating for Halloween. It was 1991, when we came back from Mexico to Austin, Texas, which is Halloween mad! You haven't enjoyed the night until you've been to 6th Street in downtown on Halloween night.
Very funny. But I cannot comprehend people who do this kind of thing. It seems like such a waste of time. Or maybe they're threatened by the thought of death so this is their way of laughing at dying. :-)
Hi Sharon! Re your comment...it's fascinating that they do all this for Halloween and nothing for Xmas. Usually, it's the other way around; people feel Halloween is evil and avoid it but go crazy at Xmas.
There are more and more things I don't understand these days!
We both have Halloween decoration pix today. I am seeing far more -- and more extensive -- Halloween decorations this year than in the past. I usually have two carved pumpkins at the door. These days that would mark me as a cheapskate.

Yikes, a little odd. Oh just realised its Halloween
Only in America!
This is fun. We don't see too many Halloween decorations out here in the country.

Love it! The cross in the corner looks real.
Haha! Funny and a bit macabre at the same time Sharon. I'm thinking there will be quite a few such strange sights around right now.
Someone went to a lot of trouble. This is a clever display.
