Bodacious
While on my walk on Main Street in Scottsdale I ran into "Bodacious" a sculpture of white oak and steel by artist Jamie Burnes. He does look bodacious, doesn't he?
Bodacious was a bucking bull that was said to be almost never ridden, and so mean that he was retired early. I have seen videos of him in action and it was quite something to see. Perhaps this is a tribute to him. I like this kind of sculpture.
He's coming apart at the seams and still manages to have a sort of smile on his face! This is a great sculpture, sure to evince smiles and good feelings. I think it's partly because of the way the hoof goes up and back on his right leg.
I have missed him. I see the sidewalk marking for the Art Walk in the background. We need to go on the Art Walk when they start up again after the summer.

A friendly bull. You have lots of good art out there.
I love it!
Bodacious indeed!
He's a bodacious beauty Sharon, I just wanted to say 'bodacious' once more!! Well captured here.
This kind of sculpture is very attractive.
"Does this sheet metal make my hips look big?" No, he's a guy. He would never even worry about such a thing. :)
