Indian Fair & Market

The 52nd annual Indian Fair and Market took place over this past weekend at the Heard Museum. I went Sunday morning, in the rain and still enjoyed every minute of it. This man posed for a photo when I caught him doing a little repair work on this tented booth. He was probably trying to stop a leak.
This was one of many beautiful things I saw at the fair.

Love the man's portrait. It looks so candid, I was surprised to read he had posed.

This is a neat photo. He has such a great face. Good for you to weather the storm!

Maybe we need to ask them to stop doing that rain dance.

Very brave of you to get out in the weather - it was cold Sunday! Glad you enjoyed yourself.

I hope that you who live in the Southwest appreciate how lucky you are. The area is rich in history. Love the portrait and envy all your fairs and festivals!

These fairs are so much fun and there are so many photo opportunities.

I would have enjoyed this event very much. I graduated from ASU, and my favorite course was on American Indian Affairs, taught by a gentleman married to the daughter of a Navajo medicine man.

The little guy holding the watermelon is the cutest ever! Fantastic art pice!
And I love the outfit on the first shot.
