I guess this photo shows why someone in Paradise Valley filed a lawsuit against their down-the-mountain neighbor a few years back because the neighbor changed the roofing material on their house so that it was white and reflected the sunlight.
I have forgotten what the result of the lawsuit was. This view looks better with a red tile roof below than it would with a white roof.
