Fire

It is a little early in the year for fires in a fireplace. We are still having 100 plus (38 c) temperatures here in the desert parts of Arizona. So I am admitting that I took this photo last winter at a friend’s cabin. The flames were just too colorful to ignore.

This is a wonderful photo that gives reason for optimism that the Arizona heat will soon break and there will be crisp evenings that warrant lighting up the fireplace.

Beautiful colors. We do have to wait a while to have a fire here in AZ. At least in the Phoenix area.

If I hadn't lived in Phoenix, Tempe and Scottsdale, I would guess that one would never use a fireplace in that area.

Hah! I remember bundling up the engine of the car when the temps headed down toward 10 degrees...

But, you said this was at a friend's cabin...in the mountains, I presume.

It is unusually colorful. And burning brightly. And I'm sure it was a comfort!

I'm ready for some cool weather, for sure!
