There was one more exhibit at the Phoenix Art Museum that I needed to experience. It's called Instrument of Troubled Dreams and it was created by artists Janet Cardiff and George Bures Miller. The couple is known for created interactive audio installations of all kinds. This one had a replica of a 1960 Mellotron that had every key wired to play a specific musical piece or voice track. Participants can compose their own film-like soundtrack. It was fun to play with and to listen to others play.
