I took a little trip to Emerald City last Sunday evening. It think it might have been my third time to see "Wicked" and it was well worth another visit.
I love the music in this show and there were some good voices in this production. So I've seen this play at least three times but so far I haven't seen the new movie. Have any of you seen it? It it worth watching?

I have seen one musical in my life. And that was a movie. At school. Around 1977.

I have seen both and for me, I enjoy live performances. The movie was good. The actress who played Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo) was outstanding. Ariana Grande was in the role of Glinda and I didn't care for her. The other people who were with me at the movie liked Ariana.
Never been to a musical.
I really love musicals on the stage and have seen many. I recently saw local productions of "Grease" and "Sweeney Todd". But I haven't seen "Wicked", the live show or the film, that is something I shall have to rectify ASAP!
I haven't seen the movie yet but I've heard it's great. I saw "Wicked" on the stage twice so I feel like I've "done" it, but I've had friends tell me the movie is different enough to make it worthwhile too.
