Holiday Decorations Detour

When I drove home from the botanical garden last Thursday night, I decided to take a little detour and see if I could find some colorful Christmas decorations.  This one was looking very cheerful with the candy-cane lights lining the sidewalk.

This one has quite a lot of lights all over the front yard area.  The NOEL is looking a tiny bit askew.  Maybe those deer gave the letters a bump.  I picked the neighborhood because I knew of a house that always goes all out for the season.  I hadn't been by there in years so I wasn't sure if they still went to all that trouble.  They do!  Tomorrow I'll show you that place.

That second one seems pretty "all-out" to me! I can't wait to see tomorrow's!

Good decorations.

The first one is really lovely, the second one looks a bit over done and not as much thought gone into the placement of things.

I like the glow from that front door. So inviting.

I would say something snarky about all the Las Vegas style lights except that I actually enjoy them. So . . Merry Christmas!

I love seeing how some people take the trouble to decorate their house for Christmas.
Have a lovely Christmas Sharon.

What an organization to set everything in place! Nothing is left to chance.
