I've been home bound all week with a very nasty cold. I think it's on the run now and I hope to never see it again! Needless to say, I had to pull something out of the archives to post today. That's how I found this sculpture in the garden area of the Heard Museum. The name of this piece is "Woman in Love" and it's by Bob Haozous. He describes it as a woman floating, eyes closed, in a daze and with a smile on her face. I don't believe I ever "floated" but hey, that's just me.

Love the sculpture Sharon but love your comment more.. Maybe we're just too realistic 😀😀 happy weekend.
There are times when we need to just "let go" and float along with the current. I do like this sculpture very much. So sorry about your cold. When I was teaching, I was usually OK up until Christmas, then I got really sick and often had to seek the help of a doctor. Since I retired from teaching, I rarely get a cold. Must have been all little rotters in the classroom! :)
Thanks so much for visiting our new blog. You do know what creative photography means! Hopefully, you'll soon be fully recovered! Meanwhile, let yourself float which means to let go of all your worries and troubles. Isn't there a song about that; an old spiritual?
Mesmerizing!
Interesting!
I just find this amusing- it's definitely from a male perspective!
Subtitle... "Woman with a Stick in her Rump". ;-)
I do like the sculpture though.
I thought you had made a mistake posting this pic! ;-)
Very interesting. I also thought it was posted wrong too :) Hope you feel better, enjoy the weekend Sharon.
I like this very much Sharon. I hope you are feeling better soon.
Floating in dreams could be a help for healing.
Hope you feel better soon.
