I made another trip to Butterfly Wonderland on Friday. That is were I found Nemo (see yesterday's post). It was a very busy place this time with bus loads of school children on field trips. I managed to get a few new pictures to share. The Paper Kite butterfly pictured above and a small glass-winged butterfly pictured below.
The GREEN here is my way of saying Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Such delicate creatures, wonderful shots!
Wonderful second shot. I have never seen a butterfly with transparent wings!
/The translucent wings in your second photo are so remarkable that they overshadow the exquisite shadow.
I have never seen a glass wing butterfly. These pictures are so beautiful!
What a cool post and you even included a paean to St. Paddy's day! Love that glass wing flutterby!
The photos are superb. Hope you didn't have to trample any little kids to get them. But I like soft colors and the depth of field - especially in the 2nd shot.
So delicate and so lovely!!
