Winter

There is a new art exhibit at the Desert Botanical Garden called "The Four Seasons" by artist and filmmaker, Philip Haas.  The artist was inspired by Italian Renaissance artist Giuseppe Arcimboldo who painted portraits composed of fruits, vegetables, flowers, and other related materials.  Each of the sculptures is over 15 feet high.  This one is titled Winter and he does look a bit worn out.  Tomorrow I'll show you another one of these giant sculptures.

This is fantastic! Arcimboldo's fruit men immediatly come to one's mind. Great work.

It's delightful as are all of Arcimboldo's work. Terrific inspiration for Haas. What fun to see his creative sculpture.

That's amazing! But I had to laugh, 'cause it's so ugly it's cute! I'll look forward to seeing your other sculptures!

This is great, can't wait to see another one. This one might look like winter in some places but winter in Phoenix is much prettier.

That is spectacular. We may have to visit the Botanical Garden to see all of his works.

Fabulous! I have seen Arcimboldo's work even though I didn't remember his name. This artist has done a fine job.
