Totem


My favorite pieces of art that I saw at the Shemer Art Center were these colorful ceramic totems.  The artists name is Janet Orr and she was at the gallery on Saturday and had a beautiful collection of these garden totems for sale.

Such a marvelous piece and would be so attractive in a backyard... mine for example, lol! It would at least change "grey days" into "bright days."

We will have to stop by to see the current exhibition at the Shemer, which is so close to our house.

I like these a lot - they're unusual, unique and very colorful. They'd brighten up anybody's yard or garden.

Somehow when I look at these I think of how colourful they would be in a snowy winter garden. it would be fabulous. Not that you have snowy gardens there ever!

Fantastic! What a great contrast to the desert colours. Great combination.
