I haven't posted photos of these beauties in a while so I thought it was about time to revisit them. The Desert Wildflower Towers are at the entrance to the Desert Botanical Garden and they were created by renowned glass artist Dale Chihuly. The towers were acquired by the garden back in 2009, the first time that Chihuly did an exhibit at the garden.
If I position myself just right, I can get two of the towers together and create an explosion of green glass.
I recently sorted all the photos I've taken of these sculptures into one folder and discovered I have 197 photos of them. I need to take 3 more and make it an even 200.

They are quite amazing, Sharon. When you get cooler weather you will have to get 3 more pics of them.

They look so real!
I think I saw similar pieces when Chihuly had a show at Kew several years ago.
Or 103 for three hundred.
They are spectacular. Both photos captured them well.

Wonderful! They look like the real thing. I've seen young Joshua trees that look very similar.
