The Arizona Biltmore Hotel is just a short distance away from where I live so it's easy to pop up there to meet a friend.
I'm always surprised by the number of people I see in the lobby of the hotel at this time of year. It just proves that some people do travel to the desert southwest during the summer months.
I love to photograph the different patterns and designs built into the stones that make up this great, old resort. I even managed to catch a photo of myself in that mirror.

Always photo-worthy! I suppose some people have to travel in the summer, because that's when the kids are out of school.
I love the older hotels. They have such character, beautiful artwork, and they're just glamorous.
