I had an appointment with the eye doctor on Friday and as I entered the office I was greeted by this enormous painting of an elephant. That wasn't there the last time was at the office. That big painting grabs your attention immediately.
On the other wall was this painting, a colorful Native American themed artwork. It looks like some redecorating had happened since my last visit. It's nice to have some art to admire while waiting to be called.

I'd rather sit and admire the art than watch a TV with the sound turned off, which usually happens in my doctor's office. I like that elephant, he's stunning! Is he an original or a print?
Anything to occupy your mind while you wait is good. I like the elephant, Sharon.
And isn't the elephant swimming? It looks like it's underwater -- an unusual perspective for an elephant portrait.
Much nicer than most waiting rooms.
It was a painting as far as I could tell.
I was actually wondering the same thing. If not underwater he certainly appears to be emerging from water.
swimming with friends - elephants & puffers never forget

A lot nicer than the waiting rooms I've been in. They usually have a tv on with infomercials.
People with poor vision can appreciate it too!
Great paintings in the waiting room
