At Work in the Kitchen

The Olive & Ivy Restaurant located on the Scottsdale Waterfront is another restaurant with a big open kitchen where you can see the chefs and staff preparing the meals.  I liked the look of those big bowls of fruit and I marveled at how someone actually balanced that orange on the very top of the pile.

There is a big U-shaped bar in the restaurant where you can have a drink or dine in.  All those bar tenders are being watched by a rather large group of heads above them.

What an eclectic way to decorate the bar area!

I love restaurants with open kitchens. In addition to being able to watch the chefs at work, we're able to see that the kitchen is clean!

J'adore the first shot here Sharon, definitely magazine worthy. So good to see an open kitchen, gosh they work hard and fast in there! The many heads is pretty unique šŸ˜ƒ

Love this place! It's charming. Not sure about all the heads. What happens if they see a drink they like and go head over heels?

The fruit really sets the tone for the place - that shot of colour is great, Sharon!

Do you think they used a toothpick for that last orange. I'd be uncomfortable with all those African mask style statues staring at me, probably more so if I had a second drink.
