I was out in Scottsdale last Sunday and I spotted these beautiful peach-faced lovebirds enjoying a rather large seed block that was sitting on someone's porch. Thank goodness for that telephoto lens so I could zoom in and get a good look at these cute little guys. I haven't seen the lovebirds that live in my neighborhood for a while. Maybe I should get one of these seed blocks to lure them back.

Such a lovely family portrait!
In my part of the world I only get to see theses birds in cages or pet stores. I would invest in the seed block for sure.
Beautiful! I think of these exotic birds as living in the tropics. What a pleasant treat to see them in Phoenix.
what a food feast for them, what an eye-feast for us.
We had two lovebirds until the female killed her mate. So, what's in a name?!
We have seen only a few around our house recently. We look forward to their return to the tree in our neighbor's yard where they have liked to roost in the past.
Do it, Sharon. I'll bet you don't have any squirrels in your neighborhood to cart it off and I'd like to see more lovebirds.
Wonderfully colourful and friendly looking birds, great catch!
Yes! Get a seed block so that you can have these beauties in your yard too. I wish I did. I have only seen one here and he looked lost and lonely. We used to put out seed blocks but it started to draw in pigeons.
If you can get these beauties to grace your property, please go get a seed block! Great pic of gorgeous creatures!
We had lovebirds when I was a kid and they were wonderful although you had to watch them carefully when they were out of the cage as they loved to chew things - drapes, wallpaper, trim on doorways etc.
I would love these birds if I had them. So I come here and look at yours. Such a delght.
Pretty I must say.
Oh they're so pretty, you should definitely get a seed block Sharon.
Yes get a seed block. You've caught them in beautiful light here

Beautiful! Such a lovely family!
Fantastic! We don't have these here, what we have is the big long tailed green parakeet. Don't ask me where they came from.
O love lovebirds! Have a great week! Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart
