Poinsettia Tree

The Poinsettia Tree is a holiday tradition at the Biltmore Fashion Square Shopping Center.  This year I used a feature on my new camera to isolate only the red in the photo and keep the rest in black and white.  I was surprised at all the red that I hadn't noticed when I took the shot.  Even those two shoppers on the left both have red shirts on.

Happy Birthday to my nephew Brian!  Have a great day!

It's a very effective effect, great looking tree... and photo!

Those two shoppers with red shirts must be Cardinals fans who stopped watching the game last Sunday and went shopping at halftime, when the Cardinals were already behind 38-0..

How did the Cardinals EVER beat the Pats back in September... oh, I digress. RED is pretty striking!

The tree, ornaments, and shoppers' shirt make a fun photo. I should use that feature more often, too.

That is an interesting feature. I think my camera has this feature, too, but I have not explored it.

The poinsettia tree is terrific. I'm glad I don't have to water it.
