Italian Santa

I found this "Santa in a Gondola" at World Market and thought it would commemorate my trip to Italy this last year and be a nice addition to my collection of Santa ornaments.  He looks quite happy rowing along on my Christmas Tree.  He looks like he's getting awfully close to France though, doesn't it?

I never thought about how Santa gets around in Venice. I guess a gondola makes sense.

You have a very attractive Italian Santa, so I think it's only right that you should obtain a French Santa, perhaps as he's climbing up the Eiffel Tower?

Very cute. I would think an Italian Santa would be hard to find.

That is a good one to remind you of your Italian trip. I love the ornaments collected over the decades. Each one stirs a memory.
