Oh what a tangled web.....

This tangled cactus that is wrapping itself around this tree is a species of the Harrisia variety of cactus.  When this cactus blooms, it has huge white flowers that pop out of those skinny arms.

I have a small start of a cactus that is similar to this, but not nearly as big of thorns.

I wouldn't want to try climbing that tree with its cactus protector.

I wouldn't want one of these cacti around. It reminds me of snakes!
