We finally had some rain on Friday night washing all the dust out of the air that had been stirred up by the winds earlier in the day. It has been so dry here that when the winds kicked up on Friday afternoon, the air immediately filled with dust and dirt.
Saturday morning I spent a couple of hours going over the plans for tours of the Tovrea Castle (I've told you about Tovrea Castle
here and
here) and that's where I saw the castle reflection in the puddle of water.

Hi Sharon, this is a wonderful photo, I like it very much, well done! Not many people are able to see these details...
Great reflection. Can't wait to see the tour.
like an alternate universe.
I'm waiting for a princess to appear! Great reflection and terrific capture.
Just lovely in every way
Such a great pic, haven't seen it since the renovation...
Great find and wonderfully captured.
An absolutely superb photograph! You win today's prize - but I forgot what it was! ;-)
Great shot!
Clever shot. We look forward to seeing you tonight at the Blue Man Group performance.
Congrats with the rain! It would be interesting to turn the photo up side down, and see what happens. So crisp reflection.
Beautifully done! It is so great when these magical moments happen.
I read Dave's comment, have a great time. Blue Man Group, fun for sure!
Nice one Sharon. I hope they let photograph the inside.
Oooooo, lovely reflection. I hope you get more rain!
I remember the castle well. You said you have a role in its renovation and promotion. Nice reflection capture today.
Thx for your comment today. I used to show plain pictures of places when those inconvenient people finally moved out of the way, but these days I am working to get more natural shots, with local people (not tourists in shorts, as Dave remarked) doing normal things. Hey, Sharon, we are all works in progress . . .
So interesting that you were able to capture that reflection. I love the desert rain. Must check out the castle
Great capture! Love the little cloud reflection sneaking in there.
Rain is SO refreshing!
in my opinion, this is your best photo to date.
Well spotted, Sharon. What a lovely shot! And yes, I remember the castle.
Great Shot. I would never have seen this. I like the way you framed this.
