I recently discovered this wonderful statue of George Washington Carver near downtown Phoenix.  Tomorrow I’ll show you where I found it.

I googled and now I unserstand why he's holding some plants in his hands.

I think I just might know this place but I'm anxiously awaiting the sequel!

I'm also wondering what he's studying so intently. Didn't he have something to do with popularizing peanuts?

I'm with Kathy. I recognize the red brick building but I am not 100% sure.

Ah... the memory. I read a biography on him in 6th Grade.

Great statue! I think I might know where it is. We will see if I am right.

I think Birdman and I must be about the same age. I read a bio of George Washington Carver around the sixth grade, too.
