Early Morning at the Garden

Last Sunday morning, I got up early and went to the Botanical Garden for the 7:00 AM members only hour.  It was still pretty dark when I arrived so I was able to snap a few pictures of some of the Chihuly displays with the spot lights on them.

I like the light effects in these shots.  The top one is still before sunrise and this one is just as the sun was coming up which you can see in the background.  It was a great time to go.  There were only two other photographers there at the same time.

I have new photos on Sharon's Sojourns today.  This time I'm featuring a birds-eye view of London.

Wow! Getting cool pix like that makes it well worth getting up early!! Love the first one - even if it isn't RED!

The lights really make the sculptures come to life!

Strange plants in this garden, but they are beautiful :)

The early morning light indeed makes it worth the effort to go early.

Lovely photos in the morning light. Isn't it grand to get up early for photo shoots. I love the light and the solitude.

Very pretty! Too cold to go out at that time here. It has been 19 degrees here in the mornings. We got a dusting of snow last night.

Totally surreal Sharon! Well done on the early rise, the top sculpture even looks like the worm(s) the early bird gets :)

That first sculpture reminds me of Medusa!

That man gives new meaning to the word artist.

Those colors are so deceptively rich - I love the way the light fills the image. Very lovely.

Incredible light in both pics! The top one looks like a beautiful see anemone. Fantastic shots!
